Keshet Berlinsky Edry, St. Paul Community Shlicha

Keshet (her full name is Keshet rainbow warrior Berlinsky Edry, but that’s a story for another time) is froma moshav called Mashen, located next to Ashkelon. She comes from a modern family and has one older brother from both her my parents, two little sisters and a brother from her dad, and a little brother from her mom.

Keshet was an education instructor for many years, and was in BBYO Israel and in LEAD organization. She did a year of service in Kibbutz Lotan prior to her army service. She served a year as a commander and a year as a tour guide for soldiers in Jerusalem. After the army, Keshet went back to the kibbutz and worked a year as a kindergarten teacher. Then, she went on a three months trip to the U.S. and had an amazing adventure.  She was even in Minnesota, in a town called Pipestone volunteering with the Keepers of the Sacred Tradition of Pipe Makers, a non-profit American Indian organization.

We are grateful to have Keshet working in our community! Contact her at or 651-690-1709

This upcoming year of 2020/21 due to covid 19, our partnership had to think outside of the box. We have come up with some amazing virtual projects to do together:

Continuing Shaliach Program, Changing 2Gether-volunteering in our Communities, Virtual Second Generation Survivors Education Series, Virtual Special Education Seminar Series, School Twinning (partnering classrooms in St Paul/Israel), StartUp2Gether (Farm Tech), Israel Book Club, Women Hoping 2Gether, Zooming 2Gether, Zicaron Teamim, and Kol Koreh.

Do any of these projects interest you or want more information on a particular project? Do you have or want a connection to Israel? Do you have any ideas, interests, want to meet new people, make new friends or just want to volunteer for an important cause?

We are always looking for new community members to join our P2G committee and family.

Please contact Stacy Dockman, Community Program Coordinator at or 651-695-3182 and find out all of the opportunities available and become a part of this exciting and important partnership.

What is Partnership 2Gether (P2G)?

Partnership 2Gether is a program of the St. Paul Jewish Federation and the Jewish Agency for Israel, designed to cultivate people-to-people relationships, projects and professional programs between St. Paul and our partner region, Sovev Kinneret, in Israel. Volunteers from St. Paul collaborate with their Israeli counterparts on cultural, social and educational exchanges.

The St. Paul Jewish community is paired with the Sovev Kinneret region in northern Israel. It includes the communities of the city of Tiberias, the Lower Galilee, the Jordan River Valley and Kvar Tavor.

We share the partnership with Milwaukee.

How does P2G work?

Through a committee comprised of community leaders from St. Paul, Milwaukee, and the Sovev Kinneret region, we collaborate on community development projects and exchange programs each year. St. Paul Jewish community members can visit and volunteer in our Partnership Region.

Keeping Israel and overseas Jewish communities safe, strong and prosperous has always been one of our top priorities. We provide meaningful support in times of need while, at the same time, promoting individual connections through travel opportunities, educational programs and cultural exchanges. Opportunities to get involved abound.

E. David Fischman Scholarship provides scholarships to Israeli students who want to attend top U.S. universities and return to Israel to apply their education and experience in their homeland.
