More than 700 people turned out to celebrate Israeli Independence Day!
Hundreds of people gathered at Nelson Park in St. Louis Park on Sunday, April 29 to walk in solidarity for Israel and even more enjoyed the afternoon celebration at the Sabes JCC. The Twin Cities Jewish community Yom Ha'atzmaut celebration included a party complete with live music by Israeli musicians from St. Paul's partnership region, dancing, games for kids, Moroccan food and an Israeli marketplace.
The celebration was a community-wide collaboration organized by the United Jewish Fund and Council of St. Paul and the Minneapolis Jewish Federation and was sponsored by more than 50 local businesses and Jewish community organizations.
Thank you to our co-chairs Robert Kramer, Susi Saxl, and Yoav and Rosalyn Segal for spearheading this amazing event!
