Description: Camp Chi is seeking a summer Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day programming operations at camp. As a seasonal member of the Program Team, the Program Manager is responsible for arranging the logistics of the daily program at camp in coordination with full-time staff. This position is an excellent stepping stone for someone with a camp background who is looking to gain substantial experience in camp management. Responsibility highlights include:planning and implementing rainy day and hot day programs; purchasing program supplies; coordinating the logistics and scheduling of daily activities, programs, and special events; creative problem solving; organizing equipment and gear for programs and activities; supervising the Equipment Manager; arranging staff recreation opportunities; and assisting in other areas of camp as needed.
Position Available: 06/07/09
Salary Range: DOE + Room & Board
Desired Education Degree/Level: All
Prior Experience: The Program Manager must be at least 21 years old and have extensive camp experience. Applicants should be fun, creative and flexible with exceptional organizational skills. Previous supervisory experience and the ability to manage diverse people are desired.
